Al Fanar is one of the U.A.E’s leading and best oil and gas company, specializing in distribution systems for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) and Natural Gas (NG). Headquartered in Abu Dhabi since 1990. The founder, Mr. Al Gebely has established the group with a vision that complies with a wise leadership of U.A.E and has established fully operational branches in Dubai, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Oman.

NATURAL GAS

Al Fanar was the first company in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to design, procure and install a natural gas network in a residential development in the UAE. The installation took place in Al Raha Gardens Phase 1,2,3,4 and 5 and now services over 1,370 villas.

LPG

Al Fanar was the first company in the UAE to implement a smart metering system to stream-line the process of gas monitoring and payment in Etihad Tower Complex. A pre-payment meter allows customers to pay for their energy by topping up a handy a local charging kiosk in Al Bustan Complex.

SNG

Al Fanar was the first company to install a SNG system in Abu Dhabi. Designed and build gas infrastructure of Al Reem Island which is the largest SNG station in Abu Dhabi. The system was custom-designed to fit ADNOC and GASCO specifications. This accomplishment positioned Al Fanar as market leader with more than 70% market share in this segment.

TECHNOLOGY

Al Fanar was the first company to introduce to the UAE market an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), a technology platform designed to save improve operational efficiency and labor by automating the meter reading process. Thanks to the AMR, meter-reading takes place automatically and without disturbing the client.

ADNOC

Al Fanar’s clients include major developers, consultants and contractors for both public and private sector projects. We have successfully installed over 2,000 gas projects in the UAE for residential, commercial and industrial segments.

ADNOC Distribution

Our installations can be found in over 70% of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic buildings. As an authorized distributor for LPG from ADNOC, we are distributing more than 50 million liters of LPG, thanks to our huge fleet of road tankers.
