The founder, Mr. Al Gebely has established the group with a vision that complies with a wise leadership of U.A.E and has established fully operational branches in Dubai, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Oman.

NATURAL GAS

Al Fanar was the first company in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to design, procure and install a natural gas network in a residential development in the UAE. The installation took place in Al Raha Gardens Phase 1,2,3,4 and 5 and now services over 1,370 villas.

LPG

Al Fanar was the first company in the UAE to implement a smart metering system to stream-line the process of gas monitoring and payment in Etihad Tower Complex. A pre-payment meter allows customers to pay for their energy by topping up a handy a local charging kiosk in Al Bustan Complex.

SNG

Al Fanar was the first company to install a SNG system in Abu Dhabi. Designed and build gas infrastructure of Al Reem Island which is the largest SNG station in Abu Dhabi. The system was custom-designed to fit ADNOC and GASCO specifications. This accomplishment positioned Al Fanar as market leader with more than 70% market share in this segment.

TECHNOLOGY

Al Fanar was the first company to introduce to the UAE market an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), a technology platform designed to save improve operational efficiency and labor by automating the meter reading process. Thanks to the AMR, meter-reading takes place automatically and without disturbing the client.

Abu Dhabi

Yas Island

Yas Island is the first commercial island with a fully operational NG system in the UAE. Al Fanar designed and installed more than 85% of the total NG network for the island. This was accomplished by installing a regional underground 4 bar Polyethylene network that feeds the whole island, plus eight pressure reduction metering stations.

Dubai

Dubai Blue Waters

This luxury island will feature a 210-meter Ferris wheel that offers breathtaking views of Dubai’s coastline and iconic landmarks. Al Fanar has contributed to this project by designing, installing and commissioning its LPG system as well as installing an underground gas distribution network and above ground pipe in pipe distribution network.

Abu Dhabi

Ferrari World

This Ferrari-themed amusement park on Yas Island spreads over an area of 2500 hectares of family leisure and entertainment, making it the largest indoor theme park in the world. Al Fanar designed and installed the natural gas distribution network to supply gas to the retail outlets and restaurants in the complex.

Construction

Etihad Towers

Etihad Towers is the second second tallest skyscraper in Abu Dhabi. Al Fanar designed and installed the gas infrastructure of these towers, including a large SNG station with a capacity of 70MM BTU per hour. Al Fanar also designed and built the gas systems for more than 1,000 residential apartments and fine dining restaurants in the building.
