Yas Island is a multipurpose leisure, shopping and entertainment center. Yas Island was also
the first commercial island with a fully operational NG system in the UAE. Al Fanar designed and
installed more than 85% of the total NG network for the island. This was accomplished by
installing a regional underground 4 bar Polyethylene network that feeds the whole island, plus
eight pressure reduction metering stations. Al Fanar also designed and installed gas networks
for all the hotels, shopping malls, amusement parks and retail outlets on the island.
